Petrol prices up Rs 4.47/litre, diesel Rs 6.46 in last 5 weeks

Petrol price has been hiked by a steep Rs 4.47 a litre and diesel by Rs 6.46 per litre in the last five weeks, taking retail rates to their highest level in one year.

With this change, the price of petrol in the national capital will be Rs. 65.60 per litre (including State levies), while one litre diesel will cost Rs. 53.93.
