IAF Mirage 2000: Fighter Jet That Avenged Pulwama Attack

On February 14, 2019, 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel were killed in one of the most deadly terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama. Adil Ahmad Dar, a 22-year-old suicide bomber, drove a Maruti Eeco down one of the alleyways and onto the highway before ramming the IED-laden vehicle into the CRPF convoy. On February 26, 2019, Indian Air Force deployed 12 Mirage 2000 fighter jets to destroy Jaish-e-Mohammed terror outfits inside the Pakistan's Balakote, allegedly killing more than 300 terrorists.
