New Delhi: Rohit Sharma on Friday registered his second successive ton in the ongoing ODI series against Australia.
The opener continued from where he left off at the WACA with a fine 124-run knock at Brisbane.
Rohit hit 11 fours and 3 sixes before being unluckily run out after having played 127 balls.
The 28-year-old has often polarised the cricketing fraternity by not converting starts into big runs.
While he has several admirers, there are other who feel the right-hander has failed to make rapid progress in his career.
However in 2016, Rohit appears to to be having no such problems.
With scores of 171* and 124, the Mumbai Indians' skipper showed why he is so highly rated.
As Rohit became only the second Indian to score back-to-back tons against Australia after VVS Laxman, here's what cricketers, past and present, had to say about his stunning show.
Great Knock Rohit!! Wish he could play his natural game in the Test also..
