In Pics: Battle of attrition as injuries cripple India
Australia have a slight edge after Day One of the fourth Test against India at Gabba in Brisbane thanks to Marnus Labuschagne's century.
An injury-scarred Indian team were dealt another big blow on Day One of the fourth Test against Australia at Gabba in Brisbane on Friday when paceman Navdeep Saini walked off with a groin injury to cripple the team further. India didn't help matters by dropping at least four catches on the day, two of them helping Australia's centurion Marnus Labuschagne.
However, in spite, of the odds debutant T. Natarajan and Washington Sundar toiled manfully through the day to restrict the hosts to 274/5 at their 'fortress' Gabba. Here's a summary of opening day's play in a few pictures...
