Patna: The Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), which is part of the Mahagathbandan in Bihar elections, has said that it will “wait and watch” even as the counting was underway for the 243 seats in the state assembly.

RJD leader Prem Chand Gupta said that his party will wait and watch. “Initial trends were postal ballots and now the gap is reducing,” he added.

According to the latest EC data the Mahagathbandan is leading in 101 seats.

Earlier, RJD said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP president Amit Shah will "be wiped out" from the 2015 Bihar assembly elections.
