Two LeT militants gunned down in Poonch district of J&K

Poonch (J&K), Jan 07: Two Lashkar-e-Toiba ultras were gunned down by security forces in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir early this morning, official sources said.

Acting on specific information, Rashtriya Rifles troops and police launched a joint operation at Chakbanola in the border district, killing let's self-styled commander Dilawar Mir and his associate, they said.
Mir was involved in laying ambush on security forces and police last year in which five personnel were killed. The militant was responsible for circulating arms and money among
various ultra groups in Poonch and Rajouri districts, they added.
