New Delhi, Nov 19: A new book highlighting the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi was released here today by Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee.
Chatterjee, while releasing the book 'Global Vision of Mahatma Gandhi', described it as a valuable and significant contribution to the literature of the 'Father of the Nation'.
He emphasised the need to adopt Gandhian principles by all the people in the contemporary world.
Chatterjee appreciated the efforts of the author Rattan Das in bringing to light the essence of Gandhiji's teachings together, which is the need of the hour keeping in view the circumstances of today's world inhabited by intolerance, hatred and terrorism.
