Jammu, Jan 06: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of
Police Gopal Sharma today ruled out withdrawal of the FIR
against former Miss Jammu Anara Gupta in porno CD case, even
as Chief Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed refused to comment
on the forensic report in the matter.

There was no question of withdrawal of FIR against Anara,
the DGP told reporters when asked whether such a step would be taken
in view of the Hyderabad-based forensic science laboratory
yesterday saying that the pictures depicted in the
pornographic CD were not that of the former Miss Jammu.

"The investigation will continue," he said adding "Please
ask further details to investigation officer of the case."

Sayeed, meanwhile, today refused to comment on the issue.

"I do not want to comment on Anara issue. It is the DGP
whom you can question in this direction as the case falls
under his department," he told reporters here.

Asked whether the government is considering any option to
sack Inspector General of Police, Jammu zone, S P Vaid and
other top officials and order a high-level probe, he said "I
have nothing to say at this point of time."
