Panaji, June 06: Congress will stake claim to form the
next Goa government by today, Congress
leaders said here.
The Congress with sixteen legislators will stake the
claim for the government with the support from NCP's three
newly elected MLAs, Congress MP Shantaram Naik said.
Naik added that the support of two independents -
Vishwajeet Rane and Anil Salgaoncar - will be taken to get a
clear majority in the 40-member assembly.
