New Delhi: Mahendra Singh Dhoni might currently be a part of the Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) squad in the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), but his wife Sakshi is clearly missing his old franchise - Chennai Super Kings – who have been banned for two years from the tournament for the involvement of one of their owners in betting.

At a time when Dhoni is playing in the IPL for the first time as not a skipper, Sakshi took to Instagram to post a selfie wearing a CSK helmet with a captioned that read – "Throwback."
Sakshi followed it with a post which read, “When a bird is alive, it eats ants. When the bird is dead, ants eat the bird. Time and circumstances can change at any time. Don’t devalue or hurt anyone in life. You may be powerful today, but remember, time is more powerful than you. One tree makes a million match sticks but only one match is needed to burn a million trees. So be good and do good.”
The photograph comes days after Harsh Goenka – brother of RPSG owner Sanjiv Goenka - posted a tweet after Smith guided Pune to a thrilling win over Mumbai Indians. Harsh wrote, “#RPSvMI Smith proves who’s the king of the jungle. Overshadows Dhoni totally. Captains innings. Great move to appoint him as captain.”
His backing of Smith didn't stop there and even after RPS lost to Kings XI Punjab in their second match of the tournament, he posted a screenshot which showed the strike rate of all the leading batsman from his franchise.
He later deleted both the tweets after severe criticism by the fans.
In what came as a huge blow to the fans of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Rising Pune Supergiant replaced him as the skipper with Australia's Steve Smith ahead of the tenth edition of the Indian Premier League.
The team's seventh-place finish in IPL 2016 didn't go down too well with the owners, who thought the Aussie would do a much better job leading the side.
For eight years in a row, Dhoni lead CSK, and guided them to title wins in 2010 and 2011. CSK are the only franchise to win the tournament two years in a row.
