After defeating Rising Pune Supergiant by six wickets in their opening match, KXIP defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by eight wickets at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore on Monday night.

While AB de Villiers unbeaten 89-run knock was the talk of the town, a superb catch taken by Wriddhiman Saha also made plenty of headlines.

The incident happened in the 14th over of RCB's innings, when Mandeep Singh top-edged a quick bouncer from Varun Aaron high behind the wicketkeeper. Saha rushed backwards immediately and after covering plenty of distance, timed his jump to perfection to end the crucial 46-run stand between Mandeep and AB de Villiers.

The catch surprised the experts, as well as Maxwell, who could not believe that Saha had held on to that effort.
