Washington: Apple's next iPad, referred to as the iPad Pro, may not be as big as it is expected and feature a 12.2 inch display, smaller than the rumoured 12.9 inch size.
While iPad Air 2 had a 9.7 inch display that was released, the next iPad is rumoured to have a size of 12.2.
According to CNET, in terms of thickness, the iPad Pro will fill out slightly compared with the iPad Air 2.
The iPad's thickness is expected to be somewhere between iPhone 6's 6.9 millimeter body and the iPhone 6 Plus' 7.1 millimeter body and thicker than the iPad Air 2's 6.1 millimeter frame. It makes the thinnest iPad frame till date.
The iPad Pro is also expected to take some design cue from the iPad air 2. It would provide a pair of speakers and microphones on the top and bottom side of the device.
