Tata Group mulling over plan to launch wearables for yoga practioners, factory workers

The 48-year-old Tata conglomerate is mulling over a plan to add new products to its extended list. In the latest, the group is planning to develop wearables and wrist devices for two very large markets namely: yoga practitioners and factory workers.

New Delhi: The 48-year-old Tata conglomerate is mulling over a plan to add new products to its extended list. In the latest, the group is planning to develop wearables and wrist devices for two very large markets namely: yoga practitioners and factory workers.

As per Bloomberg report, the watch will be designed in such a way that it tracks breathing patterns, alertness and other key body metrics. This can help yoga practitioners in a big way.

One of the products is presently being tested among crane workers at Tata Steel Ltd.
