Gujarat most preferred destination, will invest Rs 20,000 cr: Aditya Birla

Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of Aditya Birla Group, Sunday said Gujarat was the most preferred destination for his company and that they would invest Rs 20,000 crore in the state.

New Delhi: Kumar Mangalam Birla, chairman of Aditya Birla Group, Sunday said Gujarat was the most preferred destination for his company and that they would invest Rs 20,000 crore in the state.

Addressing delegates from across the globe at the sevent edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit in Gandhinagar, Birla said Aditya Birla Group would invest Rs 20,000 crore in expansion
of cement and other plants in the state.

He appreciated the state for its clear cut policies and high speed administration that were evident.

Birla also had high praises for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and appreciated his progressive governance and speedy decisions.

PM has a vision of elevation India's position in the world, he said.

The Summit is being attended by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, US Secretary of State John Kerry and 50 CEOs from India and across the globe.
