New Delhi: Zen Mobile is all set to launch an ultra-cheap smartphone this month. The price of the phone is expected to be around Rs 2,000 and will run on the Firefox operating system.
The smartphones from Zen Mobile is coming out with matching specs and features compared to the three other Firefox handsets that were launched in the last few weeks by Spice, Intex and Alcatel.
The unnamed Zen Mobile phone will be the fourth smartphone with the Firefox OS to hit the Indian market.
Mozilla has launched its Firefox OS through various manufacturers in Latin America, Europe and Asia so far.
According to experts, Firefox smartphones have caught the consumer’s fancy, specially in smaller cities as the the affordable price tag has made it possible for every Indian to own a smartphone just under the range of Rs 2,000.
