Xolo One likely getting Android Lollypop update on Friday

New Delhi: Smartphone maker Xolo will upgrade the Xolo One operating system with Android Lollipop as was being promised during its launch in October last year.

The phone, affordably priced at Rs 6,599, will become third after Google Nexus and Motorola Moto X to receive Lollipop update in the country.

The upgraded OS will be received by the Xolo one starting January 16, as per media reports.

The Xolo One sports a faux leather back panel and is available in six different color options.

The dual-SIM phone has a 4.5-inch IPS display and offers a pixel density of 218ppi. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582M) processor alongside Mali 400 MP2 GPU and 1GB of RAM.

The phone includes 8GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable upto 32 GB via microSD card. The phone has a battery capacity of 1700 mAh promising up to 19 Hours of talktime on 2G and up to 8 Hours of talktime on 3G.

It sports a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI Sensor technology. It also has a 0.3MP front-facing camera.
