New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Xiaomi on Wednesday launched the 32GB version of its Mi 4i smartphone in India.
The smartphone has been priced at Rs 14,999. The company has opened registration of Mi 4i 32GB while sale of the product will begin on July 28 from 2 PM onwards.
Xiaomi India's official twitter page reads, “#MiAnniversary — Introducing #Mi4i 32GB @ Rs. 14,999. Register now for 28/7 sale.”
The media was abuzz with reports earlier on the possible launch of this product since Xiaomi the company is celebrating its first anniversary in the country today.
Xiaomi had earlier tweeted, “Something new is coming 22/7, spearheading our #MiAnniversary celebrations. RT with your guesses!”.
The Mi 4i smartphone was launched in India in April this year at Rs 12,999. The Mi 4i comes with a 5-inch 1080p display, an 8-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 second generation processor and a 2 GB RAM and 16GB internal memory. The device was launched with Android Lollipop operating system.
The dual Sim 4G enabled device comes with 13 MP CMOS sensor with two-tone flash. It also features 5 MP front facing camera. It comes equipped with a 4.4V high voltage 3120 mAh battery that offers 1.5 days of usage.
