New Delhi: South Korean tech giant has released its most anticipated Galaxy Tab S2 with improved features to its successor Galaxy Tab S tablet . Galaxy Tab S2 tablet will be available in two sizes, 8.0-inch and 9.7-inch display.
Let us take a look at the tech specs of the tablet which will be available globally from next month.
Display
Both the models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 come with a Super AMOLED display with a 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. The company also boasts a 'reading-optimized ratio' that allows users to enjoy a 'seamless reading experience without unnecessary scrolling.'
Slimmer and Lighter
The smaller Tab S2 measures 134.8 x 198.6mm, while the larger model measures 169 x 237.3mm and both are 5.6mm slim, which Samsung claims is the thinnest out there.
Storage and Battery
Samsung is offering the Tab S2 in two different internal storage tiers. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 will be available in 32GB or 64GB configurations, with additional memory of up to 128GB via microSD.
The 8.0-inch model packs a 4,000 mAh battery, while the 9.7-inch variant comes with a 5,870 mAh battery.
Processor, RAM
Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 comes with an octa-core application processor consisting of Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz, paired with a hefty 3GB of RAM.
Camera and Software
It has an 8-MP rear camera with QHD video recording capabilities and a 1.2-MP front shooter. Samsung's new tablet runs on Android Lollipop (with Samsung's TouchWiz UI layered on top).
