New Delhi: Chinese handset maker Oppo is set to launch another smartphone in the Indian market - N1 mini- this month.

Oppo had earlier launched N1 smartphone in India this year. Oppo N1's USP is the swivel camera that doubles as a front camera with a simple twist. N1 mini too will come with the swivel camera.

The Oppo N1 mini will come with a 5-inch display, it will use a Quad-Core Snapdragon 400 processor for the power and 2GB RAM for smoother multitasking. It will sport a 13MP camera, just like Oppo N1. The camera software on the device has an Ultra HD mode which will produce 24-MP pictures with the same 13-MP camera.

For the storage, the smartphone may offer 16 GB memory which could be expanded through micro SD card. It will run on OS 1.4 based on Android Jelly Bean. On the connectivity front, the phone will support 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

N1 mini was launched in China in June for 2699 yuan (approx Rs 26,000). We can just hope that Oppo will keep the pricing right to attract customers. As it is, there are many Chinese players such as Xiaomi, Zen, Lenovo, Gionee in the Indian market who have succeeded to woo customers by right pricing.
