New Delhi: Micromax's subsidiary Yu Televentures has announced that the Yu Yureka smartphone will be available for buyers without any registrations in India on Wednesday and Thursday.
It has almost been over six months since Micromax subsidiary, YU launched its first smartphone Yureka. Since then, it has been available through flash sales. The smartphone has gained popularity due to the low budget-high performance ratio and also because the phone runs the most popular Android custom ROM Cyanogen OS
The company made the announcement on its Twitter handle to announce the flash-less sale. The tweet did not mention the amount of units available.
YU Yureka smartphone sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit Octa core(1.5GHz quad core + 1GHz quad Core) Snapdragon 615 processor with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
It features a 12 MP rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 MP front camera. The gadget comes with 16 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
