New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday paid tribute to globally renowned yoga guru BKS Iyengar on his birth anniversary.

Iyengar, who founded the `Iyengar Yoga`, was born Dec 14, 1918 in Bellur in Karnataka. He died Aug 20, 2014 in Pune.
