In China, surgeon sleeps on hospital floor after 28-hour long shift, pics go viral

New Delhi: Pictures of a surgeon, taking a nap on the hospital floor after a 28-hour shift, is winning hearts of people on the Internet.

Doctor Luo Heng is being hailed as a hero.

As per a post shared by China Global TV Network on Facebook, Dr Luo had performed five surgeries before falling asleep on the floor of the hospital in Dingyuan county, east China's Anhui Province, simply with a grass mat.

"Even though the temperature in Dingyuan was lower than 13 degrees Celsius, an exhausted Luo decided to have a quick nap on the floor," read the Facebook post.

The picture was a huge hit on Chinese social networking site Weibo.
