Sensex, Nifty hit new highs as budget optimism grows
Extending gains for the fourth day, the Sensex and the Nifty surged to new life highs and settled at record levels on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex intra-day hit life high of 25,864.53 and settled at a new peak of 25,841.21. The Nifty was at 7,708.55; up 73.85 points.
