Ayodhya Ram Mandir: 'Everyone Should Learn From Lord Ram', says Ex MP Dr Subhash Chandra

New Delhi: Essel Group Chairman and Former Rajya Sabha member Dr Subhash Chandra visited the Ram ki Paudi in Ayodhya on Thursday, after a gap of 45 years. He said he was happy to see the progress of the Ram temple construction, which he said was a matter of joy for everyone. He also urged people to learn from the ideals and virtues of Lord Ram, who he said was a symbol of righteousness and justice.    Excerpts From Interview With Dr Chandra: Millions of people had dreamed of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. And this dream is now going to be realized. Lord Shri Ram will arrive in Ayodhya after years. Thousands of people will witness this grand event. All the celebrities of the country have been invited to this event. All the guests are excited about the arrival of Ram Lalla. Among these special guests, the name of Dr. Subhash Chandra, chairman of Essel Group and former Rajya Sabha MP, is also included. Dr. Subhash Chandra has reached Ayodhya to participate in the grand event of Ram temple. In a special conversation with Zee News, he spoke extensively about Lord Ram and Ram Rajya. Dr. Subhash Chandra said that when they were young, they had come to Ayodhya. After 45 years, they have come to Ayodhya again today. When they came to Ayodhya in their youth, there was pain in their mind. He said that the Ramayana that we read, watched Ramleela, heard stories about Ayodhya, the place where Lord Shri Ram was born… that place was attacked by a foreign invader and the temple was destroyed. Our culture was tampered with. But when our time came, why didn’t we rebuild it? He said that no one had given him the answer to this question then. When he asked his friends associated with politics about it, they said that Subhash, you will not understand… this is politics… you are still a child. Then I left here (Ayodhya) with this pain. Today when I came here, there is a joy in my mind. There is a feeling in my mind that I am free, my country is free, the citizens of my country are free. In Ram Rajya, everyone had the freedom to speak. Then even when there was freedom, no one would hurt anyone. But in the last 40-50 years, 15 years ago from today, the atmosphere we saw was sorrowful. They would say anything in the name of freedom. Referring to the British rule, Subhash Chandra said that at that time, the currency also had the image of God on it. There were many things that were removed after independence. No one explains this. He also said that the one who broke the Ram temple was not a Muslim of India. The foreign invader broke the temple and built a mosque in its place. Why couldn’t political understanding be found for the Ram temple so far? In response to this question, Subhash Chandra said that not once, but many times attempts were made. When Rajiv Gandhi was the Prime Minister, he had opened the lock. He wanted to restore it to the form of a temple. But even after 1947, there have been such traitors in the country, who do not want to see the country move forward, do not want to see this country happy. Such people stopped Rajiv Gandhi from doing this. Now call it a design of nature… religion… creation… that this all had to happen by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. How do they see the temple construction in this government? On this question, Subhash Chandra said that when the constitution of this country was made, there was no word of secularism in it. In the state where… in the country where there will be no religious government, the people there will also not be religious. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that this government is religious, devout. The people who came from Indus civilization (Indus Valley Civilization) never fought but embraced everyone. They embraced all religions, all those who came from outside. Referring to the Muslim community of India, he said that if anyone should suffer the most today, it should be the Muslim community of India. Our Muslim brothers should understand that their elders were tortured and made Muslims. The people here were converted and made Muslims. The Hindu never fought when the temple broke, but said that we will plant a tulsi plant at home and worship. The Hindu society never had faith in fighting, that is why our culture survived and is moving forward. He said that one should adopt the goodness of Ram in life. Those who fight at home, worship Ram, cannot be called Ram devotees.
