Research suggests Livers can be functional for over 100 years
A study has suggested that liver can stay functional for more than 100 years. The study was conducted by a team of US researchers from University of Texas (UT) Southwestern Medical Center. The researchers said that livers can be transplanted and have a cumulative age of more than 100 years.
