Uttar Pradesh DGP OP Singh, on Wednesday said that what happened in Bulandshahr is a 'big conspiracy' and 'not just a law and order issue'. His comments come hours after Yogi Adityanath floated the conspiracy theory during a meeting on Tuesday night. A press release issued after the meeting had cited the Uttar Pradesh CM as saying that "the action smells of a larger conspiracy and hence each and everyone should be identified and taken to task".
