DNA: Union Cabinet approves an ordinance on Triple Talaq; declares it as punishable offence
The Union Cabinet approved an ordinance making triple talaq a punishable offense. Addressing a press conference, the Uinion minister accused the Congress of not cooperating in the passage of the 'Muslim Women Protection of Rights on Marriage Bill'.
