KANPUR: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and Member of Parliament Dr Murli Manohar Joshi was in Kanpur on Thursday to inaugurate a solar light panel in Kanpur Collectorate. However, the veteran leader lost his cool when he could not find scissors to cut the ribbon.
An agitated Joshi snatched away the ribbon from the poll and started yelling at the senior officer present at the scene for the inauguration ceremony. In the video, the BJP leader can be heard saying: "Are you the organiser here? What sort of a behaviour is this? You are a highly ill-mannered person."

Another man present in the video can be seen tying the ribbon so that Joshi cut the ribbon. The scissors were brought to him, but Joshi kept scolding the officer. "There is no need for the scissors now. I have already done the formality. Let it be now," he said.
He soon left the scene without cutting the ribbon. The entire incident was caught on camera.
