LUCKNOW: A leopard on Monday created a ruckus after it entered a residential area in Lucknow district.
The incident took place in the streets of Aurangabad Khalsa area in UP's Sarojaninagar.

Leaving the local people in panic, the wild creature was seen running along the streets.
In a video shared by news agency ANI, the locals are seen trying to chase the leopard.
The leopard, however, was rescued by a team of the forest department.

It was later tranquilised and moved to a zoo.
In an attempt to catch the leopard, Station Officer (SO) Ashiana Triloki Singh has been injured.
It is believed that the leopard approached the urban area from the nearby forests.
