BALLIA: Two people were in Ballia in Uttar Pradesh were beaten up on allegations of stealing cattle. The heads of the two men were partially tonsured were they were paraded on the streets.

The duo was made to carry a poster on which 'gau chor' (cow thief) was written.

Earlier this week, two men were beaten up by a mob in Mughalsarai in Uttar Pradesh on allegations of stealing cows. The duo was reportedly on a run after stealing cattle. When the two were intercepted, the angry mob thrashed the accused and took them to the police.
