Retired IAS officer buries wife's body at Ghaziabad home; chaos ensues

People protested, saying they won't let a residential colony turn into a cemetery.

Ghaziabad: A shocking incident has come to light in which a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer has buried his wife's body at a house in Ghaziabad.

According to Aaj Tak, the incident took place at Shakti Khand II in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

As soon as people came to know about, they strongly protested against it and apprised the UP Police of the same.

It is being reported that it was the last wish of Sheila Gaur, the wife of Tulsi Gaur, to be buried within the premises of the house she owned. Notably, the couple lived somewhere else.

On Sunday afternoon, four-five labourers arrived in an ambulance at the house constructed on plot numbers 170, 171 and 172.

Sheila Gaur's body was then taken inside and buried there despite protests by people who said they won't let a residential colony become a cemetery.

The RWA took notice of it and protested against it. The UP Police then reached at the spot and handled the situation.

Tulsi Gaur had been earlier posted as principal secretary in the UP government.
