Meerut The Meerut Police is on high alert after it received a letter that claimed that terror modules were planning to strike in Delhi.

As per media reports, the letter was brought to the police station by a beggar.

The beggar claimed that it was given to him by a man, who gave him Rs 10 on the promise that he will take the letter to the police. The unknown man then sped away on his bike.

As per a Rajasthan Patrika report, the entire police machinery, including local intelligence units, are working on the case to the identify the culprits.

The report adds that one more such letter is in receipt of the police.

It is not the first time the Meerut administration has received threatening letters. Earlier, DM B Chandrakala had also received a letter that claimed that the collectorate will be blown up.
