Lucknow: Former state president of Samajwadi Party Mahila Sabha, Shweta Singh, resigns from the party on Tuesday.
"I worked with my full devotion in the party but I am hurt at the treatment meted to me by party office bearers. In present situation I am finding it difficult to work in the party", she said in her letter to SP's national president Akhilesh Yadav.
Shweta was considered close to SP leader Shivpal Singh Yadav.
