Case registered against six persons for assaulting Dalit man in UP

 A case was registered against the six persons who entered his house and assaulted him along with his wife and also made remarks against his caste.

Muzaffarnagar: A case has been registered against six persons for allegedly assaulting a Dalit man and making casteist remarks against him, police said today.

According to the police, Samander Sain alleged that the six persons including Manoj, Rahul and Parmod entered his house and assaulted him along with his wife and also made remarks against his caste at Datiyana village in the district yesterday.

The incident is stated be a fallout of an old enmity. A case was registered against the six persons in this connection, police said.

No arrests have been made so far.
