New Delhi: Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav on Friday revealed what did his father Mulayam Singh Yadav whisper in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ears during the swearing-in ceremony of Yogi Adityanath as Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.
There was a lot of speculation over what the Samajwadi Party veteran told the PM on the dais at Lucknow's Smriti Upvan complex. In fact, the moment was perfectly captured by the shutterbugs.
Talking to a news channel, the Samajwadi Party leader today said: “Netaji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) told Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) - Watch out this is my son Akhilesh."
“Believe it or not, I said what I felt,” said Akhilesh and started smiling.
The audience also burst out laughing.
Akhilesh Yadav further blamed the misleading campaign of the BJP the SP's defeat in Assembly Elections.
