Family Time With Kapil Sharma teaser: Ajay Devgn takes a dig at Kapil's controversies

New Delhi: Comedian and talk show host Kapil Sharma is all set to return to television with his new show, Family Time with Kapil. Similar to his previous shows, FTWKS will also host celebrities who would promote their upcoming films on his show. Actor Ajay Devgn would be the first celebrity to grace his show.

In a new teaser promo of the show, Ajay Devgn can be seen taking potshots at Kapil. When he calls Ajay repeatedly in order to invite him on the show, Ajay reminds him of his notorious past and mocks him by saying that he has to wait just like how he makes others wait on his show. Ajay said this in reference to his experience on his previous show.

Check out the teaser here:

Not many of us would remember, Ajay Devgn who had come to promote his film 'Baadshaho' on 'The Kapil Sharma Show' last year, had to walk out of the show after hours of waiting on the sets because Kapil Sharma couldn't turn up on time due to his ill health.

However, at the end of the video, Ajay in his true cop style, speaks to the audience and reveals that he would come on the show for sure.

The new show, which has Chandan Prabhakar and Kiku Sharda on board will be of great significance for Kapil. The comedian didn’t have a pleasant 2017 and was marred by controversies. His fallout with Sunil Grover grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons.

Soon after Grover’s exit, TKSS arguably lost its charm. The TRP of the show got affected badly and Kapil couldn’t cope with the pressure, reportedly. His health deteriorated and he had to call off shoots quite a few times at the eleventh hour.

To resurrect his health, he flew to Bengaluru to undergo treatment at an Ayurvedic clinic and returned to Mumbai to complete his film 'Firangi' which released on December 1. The film directed by Rajiv Dhingra and produced by Kapil Sharma proved to be a dud at the Box Office. It was Kapil’s second film after his debut 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon' and first venture as a film producer.

And now that Kapil is all set to make a splash on the small screen once again, here’s wishing him all the best and success. His show is most likely to go on air on March 25.
