Mumbai: Arshi Khan, who came across as one of the most entertaining contestants of Bigg Boss 11, entered the house again for a brief period to execute a task. She was eliminated a couple of weeks back and was very disheartened to leave the show. But now she wants her friend Vikas Gupta to win the contest.
Arshi shared a great relationship with Shilpa Shinde too but soon her friendship with her went kaput. She used to address her as Maa and had even bonded well with her initially. But things turned sour eventually and everything went awry.
However, she still respects Shilpa . She proved it by condemning Hina Khan’s offensive remark about Shilpa.
According to a report in India.com, Arshi while talking about the video that went viral, said, “I was shocked when I saw some media reports which quoted Hina Khan as saying that Shilpa Shinde looks and speaks like a call girl. I strongly condemn the statement made by Hina Khan and feel that Hina has committed a huge blunder which she will regret all her life.”
“Shilpa Shinde is like my mother and even my parents insisted that if I called her maa, I must live up to it. I always considered Shilpa Shinde as my good friend and later on gave her the position and respect of ‘Maa’,” adding that, “The first time I was evicted, I was too shocked to react because I was not expecting to be evicted, but when the second time I went into the house, I touched Shilpa’s feet before I left and she too gave me her blessings,” Arshi added.
For the unversed, in a video that surfaced online, one could hear Hina saying, “Maine bola naa woh baat his aise karti hai jaise… (I told you that she talks like a …)” the words ‘call girl’ were muted.
Bigg Boss 11 is nearing its closure. The grand finale will be telecast on January 14. Celebrity contestants Vikas Gupta, Shilpa Shinde, Hina Khan and commoner Puneesh Sharma are competing for the coveted trophy and cash prize.
It will be interesting to see who ends up winning the show this season.
