Mumbai: One of Indian TV’s favourite on screen Bahus - Hina Khan - emerged as the first runner-up of Bigg Boss season 11. She was defeated by Shilpa Shinde, TV’s adorable Bhabiji.
During her stay in the house of Bigg Boss, Hina passed remarks at many of her colleagues in the TV industry. From Gauahar Khan to Sakshi Tanwar to Sanjeeda Shaikh, Hina commented on each of them. She even remained mum when her friend Priyank Sharma body-shamed Shilpa and Arshi Khan.
And after coming out of the house, Hina seems to have realised her folly.
When asked about her statements, Hina said: "If it came out as I have said something against Sakshi I want to clarify (that) I am her big fan and I have immense respect for her."
"In the television world, I have always admired Smriti Irani and Sakshi Tanwar. I take my words back if it came across like that (which) I never meant. Maybe people misinterpreted certain things," she added.
Talking about her journey in the house and the final round of votes, Hina said, “Shilpa and I had 50-50 chances. We both were very nervous and we knew one of us will win. It is matter of few votes. We played well. It is not important to win the show, what you have taken back from your experience on the show and earning respect is important. Bigg Boss is way too difficult a show.”
Hina, who shot fame as Akshara in the daily soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, participated in adventure reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi before Bigg Boss happened and now the actor is planning to take a break from the format.
