World Health Organization declares end of Zika emergency but still needs action
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared on Friday that the Zika virus and related neurological complications no longer constitute an international emergency but said that it would continue to work on the outbreak through a "robust programme".

Peru declares Zika emergency after more than 100 people infected with virus
The 90-day emergency was announced yesterday in the official gazette El Peruano, which said the health ministry and local authorities were working to prevent the spread of the disease, which is principally transmitted by mosquitos.
