It functions in a way that after you log in to the recent beta builds of WhatsApp Web, users see a message that informs them that they don’t need to keep their phone connected to use WhatsApp’s desktop app, the web app, or Portal, according to the report. But only four devices will be able to use the feature at a time.

WhatsApp releases contact-adding QR codes, animated stickers and many new features
Facebook-owned popular messaging app WhatsApp announced on Wednesday (July 1) that it will be getting the Animated Stickers, QR codes, Dark mode for web and desktop, improved video calls, and disappearing status feature for KaiOS. According to Whatsapp, the new features will be rolled out for both Android and iOS apps in the coming weeks.
