Indian-American lawyer Kiran Ahuja to head Office of Personnel Management in Joe Biden administration
If confirmed by the Senate, 49-year-old Ahuja would become the first Indian-American to serve this top position in the US government. Ahuja currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Philanthropy Northwest, a regional network of philanthropic institutions.

Will repair our alliances: Joe Biden's message to world after taking oath as US president
Joe Biden, after being sworn-in as President of the United States, said late on Wednesday that his administration will try to repair ties with the country’s alliances. "Here's my message to those beyond our borders: America has been tested and come out stronger for it. We will repair our alliances & engage with the world once again not to meet yesterday's challenges but today's & tomorrow's challenges," Biden said in his first speech as the US President.
