Soon, Aadhar number to become compulsory for train ticket bookings
It appears that soon, you will need to furnish your Unique Identity (UID) or Aadhar number for booking a train ticket. This means that if you still don’t have Aadhaar Card issued, then you won't be issued a train ticket.
