The six companies whose valuation declined include TCS, Infosys, SBI, CIL, ICICI Bank and HUL. On the other hand, ONGC, RIL, ITC and HDFC Bank saw gains in their market capitalisation (m-cap).

Top six firms lose Rs 54,053 cr in market valuation
The m-cap of TCS tumbled Rs 12,663.17 crore to reach Rs 5,05,048.22 crore. Rival Infosys' valuation plunged Rs 12,624.58 crore, to Rs 2,37,699.32 crore.
