The railways will soon move towards Aadhaar-based online ticketing system to prevent touts from blocking a bulk of tickets, end fraudulent bookings and curb cases of impersonation.

Alarmed by 'data theft' reports, IRCTC to institute cyber security cell
Although allegations about “data theft” have been completely rejected by the India’s largest e-commerce portal, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) saying that the “leaked data” doesn’t match its own database, efforts are in process to institute a cyber security cell.
