Breaking news: IAF getting ready to induct more Tejas LCA, 83 Mark 1A fighters in the pipeline
IAF already has 16 Tejas fighters in its 45 Squadron (Flying Daggers) based at Sulur Air Force Station in Tamil Nadu. The force will resurrect the 18 Squadron (Flying Bullets) after receiving more Tejas aircraft.

While Indian Air Force (IAF) is inducting 36 French Rafale jets and the indigenous Tejas Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) to boost its fighter squadron strength, the force under the leadership of Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria is also undertaking a major restructuring of its highly trained and motivated personnel to boost its war-fighting units.
