Tamil Nadu govt relaxes COVID curbs, kids schools to reopen on November 1
As per an earlier communication from the government, in-person classes for students of classes 1 to 8 would also commence from November 1.

117 school students test COVID-19 positive since September 1 in Tamil Nadu
A total of 34 students have tested Covid positive on Wednesday taking the total number of students to 117 since September 1 when the schools in Tamil Nadu for Classes 9 to 12 reopened in the state.
