Suzlon sells German unit Senvion for $1.2 billion to cut debt
Suzlon Energy, one of the world's largest wind-turbine makers, Thursday announced the sale of its German subsidiary for 1 billion euros (USD 1.2 billion) to pare its mounting debt.

Shares of Suzlon Energy slumped 7.5 percent on Thursday after the wind turbine maker announced the sale of its German unit, Senvion SE to US firm Centerbridge Capital Partners LLC for 1 billion euros to cut debt.
