Srinagar NIT row: Treat outstation students well - Mehbooba's request to locals
In an apparent reference to the unrest in NIT, Srinagar ,incident, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday asked students in the state to be hospitable towards outstation pupils and make them feel at home so that Kashmiris studying in other parts of the country get the same treatment.

Srinagar NIT row: Stone-pelters target security forces after search operation
In yet another such incident, a group of stone-pelting youth on Monday targeted security forces who had gone to a village in Kashmir to carry out a search operation following information that some militants were hiding there.
