Government to unveil solar zones policy in June
To encourage solar power generators and equipment manufacturers, the New and Renewable Energy Ministry will unveil a policy on solar zones that would be spread over one or more districts of a state.

LED lights to help India save $2 billion: Goyal
The government is planning to save USD 2 billion in four years by cutting down on energy usage by 10,000 MW during peak hours by promoting LED lights, Power, Coal and Renewable Energy Minister Piyush Goyal said on Thursday.
