President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday condoled the demise of Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad, who passed away at the Army`s Research and Referral Hospital here, and said that the Siachen survivor was a hero who demonstrated exemplary willpower and courage in the face of adversity.
